Rumors and Gossips!!

I know its been quite some time, actually a really long time I haven't posted or wrote anything. Yes I've been too busy and I don't deny it and yes I know many people wouldn't even care to read what I write. But I feel to write something you need to be hit by something, either an experience or a calling. And even though I've had many of those, nothing had actually hit me so far, like really touched me as of today.

I was dining with a couple of frens in a restaurant at thamel(no names please) but basically the service was lousy, the food...ehh! not so good. There were a bunch of guys sitting right next to the table we were in and I dont know, their faces looked familiar but I wasn't paying attention coz we were having a lot of interesting conversations going on. Until one guy was really loud in explaining to his friends about a girl that he heard of who had a scar on her nose. Now that really got my attention(given that I have one too) He was and I'm pretty sure explaining to his frens that the girl got bit by a dog on her nose> it might've not been me but who knows they might have been talking about me( how many girls get bit by a dog on their nose rite??) I hardly paid attention and the guy went on about the girl.
Now the question is: on what basis are we grounding our society? the guys seemed pretty educated and well informed. But is this what normally happens? You base your judgement of someone on what you hear? If so...what kind of humans are we really? I'm sure everyone has had that experience about knowing someone and hearing rumours about them(some pleasant, others not so) but are we allowing the rumours to guide how we behave. I know this might not make any sense at all to any of you, I'm just pouring down what I feel. But if it really does, I'm glad coz that would mean that I've made a connection with you. I feel people deserve to be really known for who they are and what they do and not on how they used to be coz honestly people how many times in your life have you messed up? Everyone has in one way or the other. There is no perfection, there's faults and mistakes which I think does not define who you are but who you will be.

I may not be the prettiest, the hottest, the saint and the perfect person. But I'll tell you what I am and I tell that with the pride of being me. Yes I am the girl who got bitten by a dog on the nose and have a scar for it, the crazy girl who just trusts her guts and intuition and goes for things she likes and gets what she wants(well most of the time), have had issues with myself and other ppl in the past and many more...But I'm definitely not the one that you think wud care about what u say or think of me...and this goes out to all the haters...the ppl that may have heard about me..or stories about me...and who base their judgement of what I am on what they hear rather than actually knowing me.

This is something I would appeal to everyone to think about coz how many times have u had to go through this situation? ask yourself about what kind of person you would be if you are judgemental and hold prejudices/assumptions/reservations? if you would, I'd like you to think whether or not you would get the same kind of treatment.

I know I said that I wouldn't write anything until and unless something hits me...and yes this did hit me..but not in a depressing kind of way. It hit me more in a analytical way which made me realise that we humans live in a society, where there is so much discrimination and stigmatization going on and there are many NGOS and INGOS (work in the same sector) and I honestly feel that these discriminations are basically based on prejudices and hence the many programs that the civil society brings about, I wouldn't use the term fails, but is not effective enough in changing the mindset of people  and we're the ones to blame.

I say let go of your judgements, prejudices, assumptions all of that and get to know a person really good . And if you don't know the person then why spend talking about them? It only shows there's nothing interesting going on in your life to be talking about someone elses or simply you don't have anything better to do.

That being said, as I got up I turned to the guys, gave them a big smile and walked out. Coz honestly Haters Keep Hating, and I don't let that bring me down, or tarnish the essence of who I am and I think thats what people should do...

P.S: Open to criticism. You may like it/not like it/think its bullshit but I hope you do understand what point I am trying to make...coz what you write is very personal and I trust whoever reads this would understand the meaning of sharing something very personal. Have a great night people...I hope I've got your brains ticking :) :)

My Daddy BESTEST!

Daad!! WTH?? this is how my usual day starts at home!! You might be surprised at the amount of arguments and fights and more fights I have with my father...and You'd be even more surprised at the amount of tantrums he shows. Apart from it all...we still love each other...He's the coolest dad and I'm the coolest daughter(self-praise) hehehe ;p

I've always been a daddy's girl..frankly I don't know a gurl in this whole wide world who's not and there's no harm in being one. we girls are loved most and protected mostest (i hope i can use tht word) by our fathers.
Everyone goes on writing about how special mothers are and about motherhood, and the difficulties mothers have gone thru...I know they have...but what about Fathers?/ Don't their opinions or hardship count??
I'd like to dedicate this article to my Dad...who is my Immense supporter, My strength and the person who teaches me to be Selfless and Ever-Giving.

From the time of my birth, actually he wasn't there when I was born....it was jus my mom who had to go thru it all...(which is not fair DAD) but from the time he saw me...I was his baby princess...and I'm 25(well going to be next month,Single,Adamant, Arrogant and wat nots) and still his baby princess. Trust me on this...he would make me feel like a baby anytime of the day...but also doesn't undermine the fact that I'v grown up from my mistakes and become a more mature sensible and responsible person.
Although I'm his princess and the apple of his eye, he's never failed to teach me how to live my life with independence and confidence and he always brought me up ROUGH N TOUGH...or so he says...believe me...I'v always been a tom-boyish kid ever..not tht its wrong to be one! He's the person who's inspired me in every step of my life...taught me about adventures and travel and about everything else( the person who built my intelligence)

His continuous efforts to teach me and Sameer(my younger brother) about hardwork and perseverance has never failed and it is because of him and MOM we are who we are and where we are..Although he thinks this blog think might be junk(hehehe) I know he'll eventually come around! So Dad...if you're reading this...which I'm sure u will...I'd like to thank you for being such a lovely father, loving me unconditionally, teaching me about life and for buying me all the goodies that I want..hehehehehe :p

Fatherhood is somthing which has been not valued a lot, and a person has to go through difficult measures to prove to be a father. In our country/culture, although times have changed, the usual father-child relationship has been one where the kid is scared to shit with the father, and the father image is always intimidating...I'm glad mine din't turn out to be that way. I can say my dad is my best frend, although we have our disagreements(only human), we still get drunk together and talk about anything and everything under the sky!

I LOVE YOU DAD! and What I am today Is only Because of You and MOM!!

Paile mero Kura Sunn Ta!!!

Okay!! So I've officially opened up a blog page, which I've been meaning to and wanting to do. Its surprising how a young generation person like me can still be a bit technologically Backwards...I'd like to thank one of my sisters Shreya for helping me thru this process and my fren Jawddi..who helped me with the name.

All my nepali frens would obviously understand what the topic means(thanks to Subash MOte for constantly reminding of it) .and to all my NON-Nepali frens..it means Listen to what I have to say First! Thats a line a group of my brothers always tease me with and how I make them listen to me first (or so they say) ;)) Everytime I meet up with them, they always tease me with full caricature of myself...saying out those lines.

Today, I'd like to say Listen to Me First and I think People should be able to say that too. Well not in a stuck up way though. I feel it is important for us to express ourselves, and this is exactly what I'm doing all thanks to technology.

I think its about time we start talking about change, talking about politics and all that we have been told not to talk about. Coz honestly, the So-called Society we've been living in has always been guiding us on what to do and what not to do. I think it's time for us to tell them PAILA MERO KURA SUNN!! haha..im pretty sure my brothers Subash, Mane, Samyam and Lakpa will have a good laugh about it. But its not jus about the joke here. We need to be able to see what our eyes have been trained not to see...and we need to start thinking about tomorrow, neverthless ignoring today.....coz today builds up what tomorrow you have..

I may be a bit philosophical or spiritual or some people even might think my opinions are crap. I think it would be great for me as a person to grow and develop if I get as many comments as possible. So please go ahead and comment..or atleast give me suggestions...This is my first take at blogging and honestly I don't even know what I'm writing here...Not that this has been calculated and pre-thought about.

At the end of the day, all I'd care about is how Change is Real and how we can make change happen...

PS: this is what I usually say to myself to get inspired...When u're having a great time...make the most out of it and live in the moment Coz It will Pass...and when you're at your worst...don't get brought down..COs It WILL pass too..hence This Shall Pass!!
